Inside job or MAPCON inventory database mistake? What if the meat never left its location in the first place, especially, if both boxes were returned unnoticed. Or is this just stating the obvious?

The real question is the meat came in two boxes. WHY oh WHY would someone take both boxes. Do you really need to steal enough meat to feed the whole station?

I understand that some of it, or all of it showed back up. They were not able to use it though, because of not knowing how it was stored while it was missing. I thought it was impressive to remove that much meat, but to return it unnoticed in the same location it was swiped from makes some folks think it was an inside job. *le shrug*

To assist in the locating of the prime rib, it is most likely too warm at McMurdo to store food outside for more than a couple hours. Further, the frozen pieces of meat are too large to fit in the mini fridges that are in the rooms, so I would suggest checking the larger fridges found in some of the work centers. I won't suggest the work centers that I would search first, but they should be obvious to most McMurdoans. They may also want to check out at Pegasus and Willy.
